Dad Creates Uproar When He Reveals How He Gets His Son to Read

David Woodland wants his children to read more books, so he (specifically his wife) came up with a simple idea: offer a monetary initiative to his oldest son, who is eight by paying him $1 every time he finishes a book. As of the date of David’s tweet, the young child had read 120 books already this year, putting David out $120. The hilarious thing is that the little guy thinks he’s ripping his dad off. As for David, he considers it his “best investment ever” and I have to agree with him, as a guy who also loves reading
